THESSALY. Krannon. Circa 400-350 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 13 mm, 2.10 g, 12 h). Head of the hero Thessalos to right, wearing petasos, and head of horse to right. Rev. [KPA]/ИΩИIOИ Bull butting right; above, trident right. BCD Thessaly II 115.4 (this coin). HGC 4, 388. Rogers 172a (Atrax). Rare. An attractive example with a dark patina. Small die flaw on the petasos, otherwise, good very fine.
